Do you wear your heart on your sleeve?
Hello my coffee Lovers!
How was your weekend? I hope you guys were nice and cozy. I happen to be watching "Let it snow" on Netflix this weekend. I wasn't sure I wanted to watch it but said hey let's see if I can get passed 15 minutes of it. Don't judge! I know you do the same. It was based on teenagers and how love was either a big failure in their lives or a big success. You are probably asking why I asked if your heart is on your sleeve? It was because most of us have that problem. We love full and hard and well 50% of the time we don't get that love back. We all hope you would tell someone how you feel and they feel that way too and you guys live happily ever after like in the movies, well nope. you can be near the one you love forever and not realize how much you love them just like in the movie "Let it snow"even though it ended with hearts mended it was a rollercoaster of feelings. Even marriages have their ups and downs and you asked yourself "Did that person really love you or the idea of you?"
Before I met my husband I was his friend and coworkers and believe it or not I fell for him quicker than anyone in real life should. Yet he was talking to another girl at the time and well it was sought of a long-distance relationship. It took months of listening to stories about them and gifts I helped sent because I was his "friend" but my heart crushed every time her name was mentioned. Lucky for me telling him how I felt made him realize I was the one for him but it was not an easy game. I was the lucky one I am with the first love of my life, yet others are still trying to get their hearts off their sleeve because they feel like its hopeless.
I am not an expert but if your heart was broken time and time again from the same person its time to move on and love yourself enough to realize love is coming from another person, just make sure you are ready to take it!
Until next time...dark Roast my cup and get you a Pumpkin spice latte of love!
