Homeschooling

Image
Hello coffee lovers, I know lately, it has been insane and emotional. I will tell you I feel sorry for all those poor lives lost and scared for those who are still fighting to stay alive, my heart goes out to you completely. I am to discuss something else that many people are dealing with at the moment as well which is home-schooling. I bet by now you might have had at least two cups of coffee am I right?  Today was my first day of homeschooling with my child and I might add I tried to figure it out beforehand so I can be prepared. I thought I had it in the bag or at least enough to do my work with no problem. Boy was I wrong. First off I woke up at 8:34 am and I didn't wake up my child until 10 minutes after. We started on the computer at about 8:50 am. Just to find out we were supposed to log in at 8:20 am. I felt as it should have been at least at 9am being that it is brand new to us. Throughout the day it just got harder trying to figure out what work needs to be do...

The new norm?

Hello coffee lovers, I told myself I was not going to write about this but, it seems to be known as the new "norm".  I hope you stocked enough coffee or have a person to deliver to you as much coffee as possible. This virus called  COVID-19 is a scary thing. We are all changing the way we live, the way we work, the way we think. We never thought our world would be like this and we have seen everything from influenza to the Ebola virus and still have not seen anything this bad that it has traveled worldwide like this.     I bet you want to know how long this will take to pass and yet we have no idea and I hope it goes so fast like it didn't happen. New York cases alone are at a high 1,374 confirmed victims and rising. I feel like there are so many more but no one is really discussing it with us because they are afraid to be treated like they are the virus. Altogether there are 197,135 cases around the world.7,949 deaths and 81,683 recovered. These are...

'The trials of Gabriel Fernandez' on Netflix

Image
Hello coffee lovers, Today I had to drink two coffees after watching Gabriel Fernandez's trials. For those who have no idea who Gabriel Fernandez is, I will tell you. He was a young 8-year-old boy who died by his mother's and boyfriend's hands. It was traumatizing I knew of the story but I didn't know how deep it went until I saw the trial on Netflix. He had a horrific story and I will give you some details on what it was about and let you know about my opinion as well about it. I suggest you grab a fresh cup while reading this or even watching it because you will need it. It was May of 2013 in Palmdale Northern CA, where a young boy died based on the abuse of his mother and his mother's boyfriend. Yet they did call the police, but only after the fact that time the abuse was hardcore he stopped breathing. I can only assume the abuse would have kept going and the neglect if it wasn't for that night. I wanted to talk about I'm because its fin...
