Your teengers descions on college

Hello my  coffee lovers,

How is everything going? I hope all is well despite of what the world is becoming. Today I need some advice so I suggest you make sure you get a double espresso for the question I have to ask. Now that we got our expressos let's pull up a chair and talk.

I have a teenage boy who for many years knew he wanted to be a math teacher as an adult. Now that he is 16 he doesn't want to be a math teacher anymore. He is in 11th grade and has become a bit interested in the world since he has been doing school online.

He doesn't even care to want to do the S.A.T which I kind of blame myself for being so busy with work that I am not focusing as much as I should. Many people would say send him back to school but as a mom i don't think i am ready for him to go back because i rather him not catch what is out there.I rather him be a bit lazy then loose his life but it could be the  mom in me overreacting.

My son is starting to get college stuff ineth mail and he has no idea what he wants to do and plus his grade dropped. My question to ,prst of you is to the parents. How do you get your child to want to pick a career for himself let alone go to college without him pushing you away?

I normally have answers to a lot of things but having a teenger is so hard and I am officially out of my league. If you are going through anything close like this let me know.

I will take any advice I can. I welcome all but I prefer not to have angry comments thank you! Until our next expresso see you latte!
