Good morning coffee lovers, The mornings are asking for more coffee, school is back in session and summer fun is ending. You are drinking coffee at 7 am instead of 10am. My children have yet to start but they are starting soon as well as many others. I know we all are worried about what is in store for us with COVID back with a vengeance. We all worry about whether our children will be safe. Therefore I am having this conversation this week to try to keep myself and other parents aware of what to expect and how we can keep our children as safe as possible. I know for a fact some parents are vaccinating or considering vaccinating their teens. New York City has already started mandating adults. I for one am very hesitant to give my son the vaccine but he doesn’t mind talking about it. He is 17 years old so I try to include him as much as possible in choices we make that will affect him. Hello coffee lovers, Today is a great day to be a woman, so I think this day I will take an extra whip on my frappuccino. Today is what The world knows it as Women's Equality Day. Let me give you a bit of a history about being a woman and how it came to be this day. Women in the past were not able to achieve what they do today. They were told to stay quiet and stay in the kitchen. Boy did we show them. We began telling them how we do want to be heard and we do have a mind of our own. After letting them know what we were we finally adopted in 1920 the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which prohibits the states and the federal government from denying the right to vote to citizens of the United States on the basis of sex. Hello coffee lovers. I hope all is going well. Is It me or this weather has been very intense lately. It has been drinking extra coffee than i usually do. Today I think we should really pay attention with this conversation and this one will really make you think twice about certain decisions you'll make in your life. In life we were taught back in the day(past) that if you were to be a good wife, your job was to make your husband happy by cooking, cleaning and having babies for satisfaction. As I think about it now it seems to me they wanted us to have the children to entertain us, so they can work and go to bars and enjoy themselves.
