‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill

Hello Coffee lovers, I think it’s time for a red eye coffee from Starbucks. For those who do not know what a the “Red Eye” from the Starbucks Secret Menu is a regular coffee (iced or hot) with ONE shot of Espresso added. I may be late hearing this news and it shocked me more then I thought it would. A Florida House committee on Thursday passed a bill seeking to ban discussions of sexuality and gender identity in school classrooms, which LGBTQ+ advocates say will effectively “erase” LGBTQ+ history, culture, and students. According to thehill.com as for the bill, parents may take legal action against their child’s school district and be awarded damages if they believe any of its policies infringe on their “fundamental right to make decisions regarding the upbringing and control of their children.” This is basically stating that if the word gay or anything within that school is heard they want the teachers to out their children or want children to out other children to the teacher. Is this a thing to make parents comfortable or schools? Do know what kind problems this is going to have? This day and age we thought being whoever you are these days are fine. There were parades. there were votes and there were things that people fought for the people to be themselves. Now you are basically putting a tape on your child’s mouth.

The worse part is you want children to out other children, where do you think that will lead? There are so many issues in the world, and you are trying to focus on things that should not even be an issue in 2022. I think our children if they are in any way having felt that is based on their sexually should come to us on their own time. This will cause not only children to stress more but parents will be able to make them be in denial about where what they like and its unfair to everyone. Most of the people think this will help the children but no it means it will send bac to the closet and can lead to more to suicides. Florida is known for where people go to celebrate who they can be and it so crazy how they think this bill is ok. can you imagine adults/children wanting to snuff out these identities? The teens will inevitably start to get creative. We would wear rainbow bracelets and be told to remove them. There will be even more than those that will happen. The word “GAY” is not the problem the word “Bigot” is the problem. I want to know how someone else’s life affects you. Its like trying to stop abortions one way or another people will find a way to be themselves, and if they do not you will lose more lives because your scared of the truth. Normally I am filled with joy and great advice. This is a serious situation and if this bill passes the world has gone back to the past and that’s not what we need. We need to look forward and let love be, because love is love. For those who don’t know: what happens if children go back in the closet: 1)Emotional problems: Leads to confusion, anxiety they feel cornered. 2) reflects poorly on the school: Grade may slip and fight might happen in school because of the outing. 3) laches out on parents: If they do not protect the children as they should, the children may thing that is all the parents’ faults. Everything they go through will be aimed at their parents. 4) Physical issue: If the children young may have physical issue like using the bathroom on their beds and or even using the bathroom all together because they are sick to their stomachs. 5) suicide: For those who do not know in Florida the suicides percentage it already at 23% when it comes to one’s sexuality. I noticed they are getting younger and younger. If the bill passes it will rise extremely and we loose so many great lives because Florida want to put them back in the closet. I want the congress/ Republicans is to think about what they are achieving here. Will this be for the better or the worse?
