Can paranoia (The voice) make or break you?
Hello coffee lovers,
The spring is here and it is time for all new conversations that make you think even more than normal. By now you must be drinking cold brew coffees or cold lattes to get you going. For this Conversation will need something just as strong.
When you start to succeed at things or goals in life there is always a hint of a voice that is telling you to watch your back or a voice is saying stay humble because if not you will lose all you worked hard for.
Life gives you so many battles sto try to beat. Somany scales of life that you start to wonder if it is worth getting what you wanted or having your dream come true. The sad thing is that most of the time your worst enemy is yourself. What I mean by that is because the fight is too hard or the picture is not clear you start to form your own thoughts sof why something is not happening as fast as you wish or the way you planned it to go.
I myself beetle with my own voices and it's a constant fight. My voice says “ you're not a good enough writer to make it.” “Others dislike you because you're not focused on them and only them”. Everyday I think some negative voice wants me to fail but I do hear them but I don't entertain them. I go on and become tougher and I work harder because I deserve to have a dream especially when I worked so hard to make it happen.
Paranoia is a real thing and really can make you or break you. How it can make you is that your voice is a warning sign to be aware of your surroundings. It tells you that this might be the right way to go about it.
Paranoia is the irrational and persistent feeling that people are 'out to get you' or that you are the subject of persistent, intrusive attention by others.
How do you know you have Paranoia (the voices) symptoms are:
1)Mistrust:
That's when you have people trusting people, even your closest friends.
2)Hypervigilance:
When you voice an elevated state of constantly assessing potential threats around you — is often the result of a trauma.
3)Difficulty with forgiveness:
When you no matter how small was lied to or betrayed in someway cannot forgive inside your heart
4)Defensive attitude in response to imagined criticism:
The way you react around others will be aggressive
5)Preoccupation with hidden motives:
You get so focused in getting those who hurt you back you forget your goal in life to succeed.
Strategies for Dealing with Paranoia
Take your medication every day as prescribed:
If there is a doctor you want to make the voices go away then do as doctors say.
Use a friend or family member to test your reality when out in public:
Make sure you have someone who you can trust and they know how you are feeling about these things, so they can keep an eye on you to verify to you that you're not alone and to keep you leveled in your mind.
Develop a strong sense of self:
Tell yourself thing that make sense to you to keep you going to keep your goal happening
See the good in what's happening:
Despite what negative feelings you may have, try to find the good and how far you come or what is the goal and how you will make it happen. Say Positive when all is Negative.
Develop an exit strategy or secret code:
Find a way to get you out of that stump or to get the voice out of your mind. Whether it be a word, a sentence or a code to stick by. It will help.
Everyone has their own battle and must learn to get by them. The question :Can paranoia (The voice) make or break you?
I say both of them because by breaking you can also make you into the best part of your own fight that will vere have been fought. Just don’t let the break out do the make because you are so much worth more with scars and stories to tell.
Until our next conversation, keep that voice saying “ Coffee…”and talk to you latte.
